Sunday and more work

I am currently sitting in the library.. After several days of rain we are now having a great day here in Oslo. The sun is shining, but its rather cold outside. I was up at around half past eight this morning, did some calculations .. and this "great" mind-map over the Chinese costmetics industry..

I have always thought that mind-maps is a great tool to remember a lot of data
, and studying cases is a great way to practice drawing mind-maps.. I will definitely utilize this tool later in my professional career. Here is a link to a "free" mind-map generator.

The picture is taken at around half past eleven sunday. When I have time, Ill try to download the mind-map generator, and see how it works, the thing is.. i kind of like pen and paper.

Still like pen and paper?!
Look at this piece of news, on Italian 6th graders switching in full from paper to laptops: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/7658665.stm

So, you just lost from a bunch of 6th graders... How about some skill upgrades? Any mind maps about 'resistance to change'?

Haha, come on Hanno.. i like pen and paper for the sake of doing mind maps.. but, ok.. this time i lost out to some youngsters. The thing is, that crappy mind map generating program is USD 200... so im not going to pay for it.. i like the PPT and then the connectors.. that works fine, its just when you are in the middle of reading an article.. i find it easier and faster to do the notes on a piece of paper .. and then transfer them onto the computer.. it also helps the learning process a lot more - and that is where i see the actual advantage.. i feel i stimulate more senses by actually drawing the mind map by hand :)

I dont think you would get that answer from the 6th graders.. and I wasnt blogging in the class - it was in the break.
